“People are our priority!”

You may have heard that line more than once in your work or training. But does it show itself true?

We definitely have taken a turn over the past number of years, looking at ‘soft skills’ as important no matter what the industry. Plenty of research has shown this to be true time and again, and workplaces are taking it seriously. The funny thing about our ‘people skills’ is that we can always improve, are always learning from our mistakes, and need to take opportunities to do better.

So how are you doing better?

My motto is Working Better Together. I realized this was at the centre of much of what I provide to organizations, answering a call to helping people to see purpose in what they do, feeling fulfilment in doing so, and learning how care shows itself for everyone. No matter the situation, the goal is to help people work better together!

I would love to partner with you soon about specific training for your team (or teams) that speaks directly to understanding more about ourselves and applying that to how we work best with others. As an added bonus, I invite you to take advantage of the Canada-Manitoba Job Grant. Here are the specifics from the fact sheet for what you could receive:

How much funding can I apply for?

• Small companies with 100 or fewer employees can apply for up to 75% of eligible training costs

• Companies with 101 or more employees can apply for up to 50% of eligible training costs

• Employers can apply for up to a maximum amount of $10,000 per training participant

• Maximum Job Grant amount regardless of number of trainees and cost of training is $100,000

What if we don’t get the grant?

We can discuss pricing options for your group and hopefully arrange something that fits your budget.

Do you have employees/locations in other provinces?

No problem! The program is being offered beyond Manitoba as well.

I am a certified practitioner for the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (better known as the MBTI, www.myersbriggs.org). I have found it very helpful in my personal journey, my understanding of how I work with others, and assisting teams to walk together more cohesively. If you would like to read more about why I chose the MBTI personally, click here: Why choose the MBTI?
