Another great workshop with the Trinity Western University women’s basketball team is in the books!
To think, our time was nearly cut in
half due to a delayed flight. But isn’t that often how the best laid plans usually go? We have the perfect formula set in motion, and then all the variables of life are set free to wreak havoc. Which leads to one of the greatest lessons in life and leadership: How will you adapt and grow through your circumstances?
Even though a number of the team
members had taken the MBTI* in some way before, including those that were part of the last time I spoke to the group, there was still plenty of room for further discussion. Why? Because they are a living testimony of what it means to continue on the path of self-awareness and personal development. Being on a competitive sports team forces each individual to evaluate their interactions and their responses far more than most of us. So the experience together, coupled with these discussions, puts them in a great position to grow and help others do the same.
It was a cold week, but the warmth of
sharing and comradery filled the room. Keep growing, keep learning, and live with excellence no matter what the circumstances.
Thanks Spartans!
