“There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens” (Ecclesiastes 3:1)

I was blessed to celebrate the ministry of a long term servant leader this Sunday. After many years of organizing, preparing, and helping others to succeed, she felt her time had come to a close. The beauty of this situation? Even though she will not be leading the group, she will continue serving where able. The time for one aspect of leadership closed, but it did not mean the time is up for everything.

The other part of this equation is the people surrounding her. Expressing gratitude, remembering all kinds of moments and seasons, and encouraging each other as they go forward. Our activities in community impact everyone around us, no matter how small. My role in transitional leadership at Church of The Way has afforded me the privilege of seeing moments of time celebrated in community.

Continue learning from your time of impact wherever you find yourself planted!
