In my upcoming blogposts I will be talking about communication, a subject that is at the centre of much of what I talk about. Sounds like an oxymoron, but many of us who talk a lot do not necessarily communicate well. Take a look at the media or marketing in recent weeks and you gain some understanding on meaning lost in the message. Dialogue is difficult in peaceful times, never mind when tensions are high and agreement seems distant.
The above commentary was written by my cousin who has worked in both public discourse and the private sector. I appreciate what he has to say and I think it is a great starting point on communication at all levels. What barriers do you see in your own lines of communication?
